Zen-Do Kickboxing : Central London's Premier Martial Arts Club
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Here are some of the questions we get asked from time to time...

What is Kickboxing?

Kickboxing is one of the most popular martial arts.

Our particular style is a blend of karate, oriental kicking, western boxing and self-defence techniques. Zen-Do classes give both a great aerobic and anaerobic workout and will also develop speed, flexibility, strength and co-ordination.

What happens in a class?

Classes last one hour and begin with a full body stretch. Once properly warmed up students are taught basic punches and kicks and then combinations.

Attack and defence techniques are then practiced with a partner and this is followed by shadow kickboxing.

Will I get hurt?

We maintain the highest standards of safety in our classes, so it is unlikely you will suffer an injury.

Our classes are non-contact so there is very little risk of getting hurt - however, as with all types of physical training, there is a small chance of a minor injury occuring.

Separate classes are available for those who wish to spar and make light contact.
